These are my three major assignments for landscape painting class.

This was down at the embarcadero. I liked the light and dark shapes, the foggy atmosphere, and the reflections. I like how the painting turned out.
This was sausolito--a photo taken from the ferry to san francisco. I never did figure how to make the structures look like they're integrated with the land and trees.

This was a photo my roommate gave to me to use for my final in the class. It turned out well--probably because it is just classical in nature whereas the sausolito painting I feel was a riskier composition.
These are studies I did in class on location for my landscape painting class.

Did this one down at Tennesse Valley. I like how the crashing water turned out.

Down at some docks. Very limited pallete
This was near the same docks--I like this kind of grungy scenery for painting.

My first attempt at a city painting. I definitely prefer natural landscapes over buildings

This one was fun but again, the buildings are just a chore to paint because of the persepctive and all the straight lines.

Finally posting again at the end of the semester. I was busy painting things like this. This oil clothed figure painting class was a good one. I hope to paint in oils someday instead of digital.
